TheDoctorsTV and The 17 Day Diet for Cleansing, Stabilizing, and Supporting Weight Loss
This was the second appearance by the doctor who has written the book, “The 17 Day Diet” on TheDoctorsTV show. He came back to give a few more details about the benefits of his approach to dieting and weight loss.
The doctor looks fairly healthy and he appears to be holding his own weight and carrying it well. He has a pleasant disposition and it would suggest that he enjoys working with his patients to help them return to their ideal weight. The method of breaking it down into segments of seventeen days…then a change…then another seventeen days does encourage a person to continue with the process, instead of giving up!
Many people get BORED when they try to stick to a diet, so a change every 17 days should alleviate the boredom and repetition that kills progress. The doctor is trying to ‘wake up’ the body and get it to pay attention to changes in bio-chemistry and the metabolic demands being placed upon the body with his system.
Some of his foods are alright…the whole foods and the plant-based diet aspect of his program. Just don’t succumb to any suggestion that any processed, pre-packaged, or fast food is OK. It will never keep you healthy and strong and sized to fit your fine duds. As Dr. Lisa so correctly stated today, it’s about a ‘Lifestyle Change’!
You must embrace a healthy Lifestyle for lasting results and the target of living long in a vibrant body that is at its ideal weight and size. This is far better than weight loss alone, it’s about living well. Diets are designed as temporary fixes, when you are only going to be truly satisfied when it becomes a ‘way of life’ that’s permanent.
You’re going to have to do more than read and follow the instructions in a book! You are going on a journey to change every day of your wonderful life. It’s an adventure in well-being…
